Deteronòm 26
1 Lè n’a rive nan peyi Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ban nou pou rele nou pa nou an, lè n’a fin pran tout peyi a pou nou pou nou rete ladan l’,
2 chak moun va pran premye donn tout pyebwa nan jaden li fè sou tè Seyè a, Bondye li a, va ba li, l’a mete yo nan yon panyen, epi l’a pote l’ kote Seyè a te chwazi pou l’ rete nan mitan nou an.
3 Li aval jwenn prèt ki desèvis lè sa a, epi l’a di l’: -Mwen deklare jòdi a, devan Seyè a, Bondye mwen an, mwen rekonèt mwen antre nan peyi li te pwomèt li t’ap bay zansèt nou yo.
4 Prèt la va pran panyen an nan men li, l’a depoze l’ devan lòtèl Seyè a, Bondye nou an.
5 Lè sa a, moun k’ap fè ofrann lan va pran lapawòl devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, l’a fè deklarasyon sa a: -Zansèt mwen te yon moun peyi Aram ki t’ap pwonmennen mache toupatou. Yon jou, li desann nan peyi Lejip ak moun pa l’ yo ki pa t’ anpil. Yo pase kèk tan nan peyi a, yo tounen yon gwo nasyon ki te fò ak anpil anpil moun ladan l’.
6 Moun peyi Lejip yo tonbe maltrete nou, yo malmennen nou, yo fòse nou travay di tankou esklav.
7 Lè sa a, nou rele Seyè a, Bondye zansèt nou yo, pou l’ vin ede nou. Li tande lapriyè nou. Li wè nan ki mizè nou te ye, li wè tout lapenn ki te nan kè nou, li wè jan yo t’ap peze nou.
8 Seyè a fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip la ak gwo fòs ponyèt li, li te fè anpil mirak ak anpil mèvèy, bagay ki te fè moun pè anpil.
9 Apre sa, li mennen nou isit la, li ban nou bèl tè sa a, kote lèt ak siwo myèl ap koule tankou dlo.
10 Se sa ki fè koulye a, Seyè, mwen pote ba ou pi bèl fwi nan premye rekòt ou ban mwen nan peyi a. Apre sa, nonm lan va depoze panyen an devan Seyè a, Bondye nou an, l’a mete ajenou devan l’.
11 Lèfini, li menm ak tout moun lakay li, l’a fè fèt pou tout bon bagay sa yo Seyè a te ba li. L’a fè moun Levi yo ansanm ak moun lòt nasyon k’ap viv nan mitan nou yo fete ansanm ak li tou.
12 Chak twazan n’a bay ladim, ki vle di yon dizyèm tout bagay nou rekòlte. N’a ranmase sa n’ap bay la, n’a mache nan tout lavil nou yo, n’a bay prèt yo, moun lòt nasyon yo, timoun san papa yo ak vèv yo, pou yo tout ka manje plen vant yo.
13 Lèfini, n’a parèt devan lòtèl Seyè a, Bondye nou an, n’a di l’: -Mwen pa kite lakay mwen anyen nan sa mwen fèt pou mete apa pou ou. Mwen mache bay prèt yo, moun lòt nasyon yo, timoun san papa ak vèv yo, dapre lòd ou te ban mwen. Mwen fè tou sa ou te mande m’ fè sou keksyon sa a. Mwen pa bliye anyen nan tou sa ou di m’.
14 Mwen pa t’ manje ladan yo lè mwen te nan lapenn, ni lè mwen pa t’ nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis pou ou. Ni mwen pa t’ wete anyen ladan l’ pou m’ fè ofrann bay mò. Seyè, Bondye mwen, mwen te obeyi ou, mwen te fè tou sa ou te ban m’ lòd fè sou keksyon sa a.
15 Rete nan syèl la, nan kay ki apa nèt pou ou a, voye je ou gade pèp ou a. Beni pèp Izrayèl la ansanm ak tè ou te ban nou an dapre pwomès ou te fè zansèt nou yo. Beni peyi kote lèt ak siwo myèl ap koule tankou dlo a.
16 Seyè a, Bondye nou an, pase nou lòd jòdi a pou nou swiv tout lwa ak tout regleman sa yo. N’a kenbe yo, n’a fè sa yo mande nou la a ak tout kè nou ak tout nanm nou.
17 Jòdi a nou fè deklarasyon nou bay Seyè a: Nou di se li ki Bondye nou. Nou pwomèt pou nou toujou mache jan li vle l’ la, pou nou fè tou sa ki nan lwa, nan lòd ak nan regleman li yo pou nou toujou koute sa l’ di nou.
18 Jòdi a tou, Seyè a te asepte nou pou pèp li renmen anpil la, jan l’ te fè nou pwomès la. Epi li pase nou lòd pou nou fè tou sa l’a mande nou fè.
19 L’ap fè nou tounen nasyon ki pi gran pase tout lòt nasyon li te fè yo. N’a gen pouvwa pase yo, n’a gen repitasyon pase yo, y’a respekte nou pase yo. Wi, n’a yon pèp k’ap viv apa nèt pou Seyè a, Bondye nou an, jan l’ te di l’ la.

Deuteronome 26
1 Lorsque tu seras entré dans le pays que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour héritage, lorsque tu le posséderas et y seras établi,
2 tu prendras des prémices de tous les fruits que tu retireras du sol dans le pays que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne, tu les mettras dans une corbeille, et tu iras au lieu que choisira l’Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom.
3 Tu te présenteras au sacrificateur alors en fonctions, et tu lui diras: Je déclare aujourd’hui à l’Éternel, ton Dieu, que je suis entré dans le pays que l’Éternel a juré à nos pères de nous donner.
4 Le sacrificateur recevra la corbeille de ta main, et la déposera devant l’autel de l’Éternel, ton Dieu.
5 Tu prendras encore la parole, et tu diras devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu: Mon père était un Araméen nomade; il descendit en Égypte avec peu de gens, et il y fixa son séjour; là, il devint une nation grande, puissante et nombreuse.
6 Les Égyptiens nous maltraitèrent et nous opprimèrent, et ils nous soumirent à une dure servitude.
7 Nous criâmes à l’Éternel, le Dieu de nos pères. L’Éternel entendit notre voix, et il vit notre oppression, nos peines et nos misères.
8 Et l’Éternel nous fit sortir d’Égypte, à main forte et à bras étendu, avec des prodiges de terreur, avec des signes et des miracles.
9 Il nous a conduits dans ce lieu, et il nous a donné ce pays, pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
10 Maintenant voici, j’apporte les prémices des fruits du sol que tu m’as donné, ô Éternel! Tu les déposeras devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, et tu te prosterneras devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu.
11 Puis tu te réjouiras, avec le Lévite et avec l’étranger qui sera au milieu de toi, pour tous les biens que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, t’a donnés, à toi et à ta maison.
12 Lorsque tu auras achevé de lever toute la dîme de tes produits, la troisième année, l’année de la dîme, tu la donneras au Lévite, à l’étranger, à l’orphelin et à la veuve; et ils mangeront et se rassasieront, dans tes portes.
13 Tu diras devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu: J’ai ôté de ma maison ce qui est consacré, et je l’ai donné au Lévite, à l’étranger, à l’orphelin et à la veuve, selon tous les ordres que tu m’as prescrits; je n’ai transgressé ni oublié aucun de tes commandements.
14 Je n’ai rien mangé de ces choses pendant mon deuil, je n’en ai rien fait disparaître pour un usage impur, et je n’en ai rien donné à l’occasion d’un mort; j’ai obéi à la voix de l’Éternel, mon Dieu, j’ai agi selon tous les ordres que tu m’as prescrits.
15 Regarde de ta demeure sainte, des cieux, et bénis ton peuple d’Israël et le pays que tu nous as donné, comme tu l’avais juré à nos pères, ce pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
16 Aujourd’hui, l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te commande de mettre en pratique ces lois et ces ordonnances; tu les observeras et tu les mettras en pratique de tout ton coeur et de toute ton âme.
17 Aujourd’hui, tu as fait promettre à l’Éternel qu’il sera ton Dieu, afin que tu marches dans ses voies, que tu observes ses lois, ses commandements et ses ordonnances, et que tu obéisses à sa voix.
18 Et aujourd’hui, l’Éternel t’a fait promettre que tu seras un peuple qui lui appartiendra, comme il te l’a dit, et que tu observeras tous ses commandements,
19 afin qu’il te donne sur toutes les nations qu’il a créées la supériorité en gloire, en renom et en magnificence, et afin que tu sois un peuple saint pour l’Éternel, ton Dieu, comme il te l’a dit.

Deuteronomy 26
1 And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
2 That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the Lord thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to place his name there.
3 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the Lord thy God, that I am come unto the country which the Lord sware unto our fathers for to give us.
4 And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the Lord thy God.
5 And thou shalt speak and say before the Lord thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
6 And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
7 And when we cried unto the Lord God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
8 And the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
9 And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O Lord, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God:
11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
13 Then thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them.
14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the Lord my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
16 This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
17 Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
18 And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.
