Ézayi 6
1 Lanne wa Ozyas mouri a, mwen wè Seyè a. Li te chita sou yon gwo fotèy byen wo. Ke rad li te plen tout tanp lan.
2 Yon bann bèt vivan te kanpe fè wonn li. Yo te klere kou flanm dife. Yo chak te gen sis zèl, de zèl pou kouvri figi yo, de zèl pou kouvri pye yo, de zèl pou yo vole.
3 Yo t’ap pale yonn ak lòt byen fò. Yo t’ap di: -Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, li apa! Wi, li apa! Se yon Bondye ki apa vre! Pouvwa li kouvri tout latè.
4 Tout poto kay Bondye a tranble lè bèt vivan yo t’ap rele konsa a. Lafimen te plen tout anndan tanp lan.
5 Mwen di: -Nanpwen sove pou mwen! Jòdi a m’ap mouri vre! Paske tout pawòl ki soti nan bouch mwen se move pawòl. Epi m’ap viv nan mitan yon pèp ki pa janm gen bon pawòl nan bouch li. Lèfini, mwen wè Wa a, Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a, avèk pwòp je m’.
6 Yonn nan bèt vivan yo pran yon chabon dife tou limen ak yon pensèt sou lotèl la, li vole vin bò kote m’ avèk chabon dife a nan men li.
7 Li kole l’ sou bouch mwen, epi li di m’ konsa! -Sa a kole sou po bouch ou. Koulye a, ou pa gen peche ankò. Bondye padonnen tou sa ou fè ki mal.
8 Apre sa, mwen tande Seyè a ki t’ap di: -Kilès mwen ta voye la a? Kilès ki ta asepte ale pou nou? Mwen di: -Men mwen. Voye m’!
9 Epi lè sa a, li di m’: -Ale non. Men sa pou ou di pèp la: Louvri zòrèy nou jan nou vle, men nou p’ap konprann anyen! Louvri je nou jan nou vle, men nou p’ap wè sa k’ap rive!
10 Fè lespri pèp la vin lou! Bouche zòrèy yo! Mare je yo! Konsa, yo p’ap ka tande, yo p’ap ka wè, yo p’ap ka konprann. Yo p’ap ka tounen vin jwenn mwen pou m’ geri yo.
11 Lè sa a, mwen di: -Seyè! Kilè sa va sispann? Li reponn mwen: -Lè y’a fin kraze lavil yo. Lè p’ap gen moun ankò ki rete ladan yo. Lè tout kay yo va vid, lè jaden yo va tounen savann.
12 Mwen menm, Seyè a, m’a mete tout moun deyò nan peyi a. Tout peyi a pral rete san moun ladan l’.
13 Menm si rete yon sèl moun sou chak dis moun nan peyi a, y’ap toujou disparèt yo. Se va tankou lè yo koupe pye kajou ak pye bwadchenn. Chouk la ase ki va rete. Chouk sa a va pouse ankò, pèp Bondye a va kanpe ankò.

1 L’année de la mort du roi Ozias, je vis le Seigneur assis sur un trône très élevé, et les pans de sa robe remplissaient le temple.
2 Des séraphins se tenaient au-dessus de lui; ils avaient chacun six ailes; deux dont ils se couvraient la face, deux dont ils se couvraient les pieds, et deux dont ils se servaient pour voler.
3 Ils criaient l’un à l’autre, et disaient: Saint, saint, saint est l’Éternel des armées! toute la terre est pleine de sa gloire!
4 Les portes furent ébranlées dans leurs fondements par la voix qui retentissait, et la maison se remplit de fumée.
5 Alors je dis: Malheur à moi! je suis perdu, car je suis un homme dont les lèvres sont impures, j’habite au milieu d’un peuple dont les lèvres sont impures, et mes yeux ont vu le Roi, l’Éternel des armées.
6 Mais l’un des séraphins vola vers moi, tenant à la main une pierre ardente, qu’il avait prise sur l’autel avec des pincettes.
7 Il en toucha ma bouche, et dit: Ceci a touché tes lèvres; ton iniquité est enlevée, et ton péché est expié.
8 J’entendis la voix du Seigneur, disant: Qui enverrai-je, et qui marchera pour nous? Je répondis: Me voici, envoie-moi.
9 Il dit alors: Va, et dis à ce peuple: Vous entendrez, et vous ne comprendrez point; Vous verrez, et vous ne saisirez point.
10 Rends insensible le coeur de ce peuple, Endurcis ses oreilles, et bouche-lui les yeux, Pour qu’il ne voie point de ses yeux, n’entende point de ses oreilles, Ne comprenne point de son coeur, Ne se convertisse point et ne soit point guéri.
11 Je dis: Jusqu’à quand, Seigneur? Et il répondit: Jusqu’à ce que les villes soient dévastées Et privées d’habitants; Jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait personne dans les maisons, Et que le pays soit ravagé par la solitude;
12 Jusqu’à ce que l’Éternel ait éloigné les hommes, Et que le pays devienne un immense désert,
13 Et s’il y reste encore un dixième des habitants, Ils seront à leur tour anéantis. Mais, comme le térébinthe et le chêne Conservent leur tronc quand ils sont abattus, Une sainte postérité renaîtra de ce peuple.

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12 And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
