2 Jezi di yo: Lè n’ap lapriyè, men sa pou n’ di: Papa, nou mande pou non ou toujou respekte. vin tabli gouvènman ou lan.
3 Chak jou, ban nou manje nou bezwen pou jounen an.
4 Padonnen peche nou yo, paske nou menm tou nou padonnen tout moun ki fè nou mal. Pa kite nou nan pozisyon pou n’ tonbe nan tantasyon.
5 Jezi di yo ankò: Sipoze yonn nan nou ta gen yon zanmi, li al jwenn zanmi an nan mitan lannwit pou l’ di li: Zanmi, prete m’ twa biswit.
6 Mwen gen yon zanmi ki sot nan vwayaj ki fèk rive lakay mwen. Mwen pa gen anyen pou m’ ba li.
7 Sipoze nonm lan rete anndan lakay li, li reponn li: Kite m’ an repo! Pòt la gen tan fèmen akle, ni mwen ni timoun yo, nou tout kouche deja. Mwen pa kapab leve pou m’ ba ou biswit yo.
8 M’ap di nou sa: Menm si li pa ta leve pou l’ ba li biswit yo paske li se zanmi l’, li gen pou l’ leve pou l’ ba li tou sa li bezwen, si zanmi an pa wont kontinye mande li.
9 Mwen menm mwen di nou: Mande, y’a ban nou, chache n’a jwenn, frape y’a louvri pou nou.
10 Paske, nenpòt moun ki mande, la resevwa; moun ki chache, la jwenn; y’a louvri pou moun k’ap frape.
11 Eske yonn nan nou ki papa pitit ta bay pitit li yon koulèv si pitit la mande l’ yon pwason?
12 Osinon, èske la ba li yon èskòpyon si li mande l’ yon ze?
13 Si nou menm ki mechan jan nou mechan an, nou konn bay pitit nou bon bagay, se pa Papa nou ki nan syèl la ki pou ta refize ban nou Sentespri l’, lè nou mande l’ li.
14 Jezi t’ap chase yon move lespri ki te rann yon nonm bèbè. Lè move lespri a soti, bèbè a pale. Foul moun yo menm te rete men nan bouch.
15 Men, gen kèk moun ki t’ap di: Se Bèlzeboul, chèf move lespri yo, ki ba l’ pouvwa chase move lespri yo.
16 Gen lòt ki te vle pran l’ nan pèlen: yo mande l’ pou l’ fè yon mirak ki pou moutre se Bondye ki ba l’ pouvwa sa a.
17 Jezi menm te konnen sak te nan lide yo. Li di yo konsa: Yon peyi ki gen divizyon ladan l’, kote moun ap goumen yonn ak lòt, peyi sa a la pou disparèt; menm kay yo gen pou tonbe yonn sou lòt.
18 Konsa tou, si Satan ap konbat pwòp tèt li, pouvwa Satan an pa la pou lontan. Nou di se Bèlzeboul ki ban m’ pouvwa chase move lespri yo.
19 Si mwen menm mwen chase move lespri ak pouvwa Bèlzeboul, patizan nou yo, ak ki pouvwa yo chase move lespri yo? Se poutèt sa se yo menm k’ap ban nou tò.
20 Non. Se avèk pouvwa Bondye mwen chase move lespri yo; sa vle di: Pouvwa gouvènman Bondye ki Wa a gen tan rive sou nou.
21 Lè yon nonm vanyan ap veye kay li, zam li nan men l’, tout byen l’ yo byen pwoteje.
22 Men, si yon pi vanyan pase l’ vin rive, l’ap bat li, l’ap wete zam ki te ba l’ fòs yo nan men l’, l’ap piye tou sa l’ te genyen an l’ap separe ak lòt.
23 Moun ki pa avèk mwen, se kont mwen yo ye; moun ki p’ap ede m’ ranmase, se gaye y’ap gaye.
24 Lè yon move lespri soti nan yon nonm, li al pwonmennen toupatou nan dezè, l’ap chache yon kote pou l’ pran repo. Si l’ pa jwenn, l’ap di nan kè li: m’ap tounen lakay mwen kote m’ soti a.
25 Lè l’ rive, li jwenn nonm lan tankou yon kay byen bale, byen ranje.
26 Lè sa a, li al chache sèt lòt lespri ki pi move pase li; yo antre nan kay la, yo enstale yo. Konsa, kondisyon nonm lan vin pi mal pase jan l’ te ye anvan an.
27 Pandan Jezi t’ap pale konsa, yon fanm pran pale byen fò nan mitan foul la, epi l’ di: Fanm ki te pote ou nan vant li epi ki te ba ou tete a, se yon fanm Bondye beni!
28 Jezi reponn li: Moun ki koute pawòl Bondye epi ki mete l’ an pratik, se yo menm Bondye beni.
29 Anpil moun t’ap vin an kantite bò kot Jezi. Li pran di yo: Ala move moun se moun alèkile yo! Y’ap mande yon mirak ki pou fè yo wè Bondye dakò ak sa k’ap fèt la. Men, yo p’ap jwenn lòt mirak pase mirak Jonas la.
30 Menm jan Jonas te yon avètisman pou moun lavil Niniv yo, se konsa tou Moun Bondye voye nan lachè a va yon avètisman pou moun alèkile yo.
31 Jou jijman an, larenn peyi ki nan sid la va leve kanpe, la fè yo kondannen moun alèkile yo. Paske, li te soti byen lwen, jouk nan dènye bout latè, pou l’ te vin tande pawòl bon konprann wa Salomon yo. Men isit la, gen bagay ki pi konsekan pase wa Salomon.
32 Jou jijman an tou, moun lavil Niniv va leve kanpe y’a fè yo kondannen moun alèkile yo. Paske yo menm, yo te tounen vin jwenn Bondye, lè Jonas te fè yo konnen mesaj la. Men isit la, gen bagay ki pi konsekan pase Jonas.
33 Pa gen moun ki pou kache yon lanp nan yon kwen osinon ki pou mete l’ anba yon mamit lè l’ fin limen li. Okontrè, l’ap mete l’ sou yon etajè pou tout moun k’ap antre ka wè limyè a.
34 Je ou se tankou yon lanp yo ye pou kò ou. Si je ou an bon eta, tout kò ou nan limyè. Men, si je ou an move eta, tout kò ou nan fènwa.
35 Fè sèten pou limyè ki anndan ou lan pa fènwa.
36 Paske si tout kò ou nan limyè san yon sèl pati ladan l’ pa nan fènwa, la klere nèt tankou lè yon lanp klere ou ak bèl limyè li.
37 Lè Jezi fin pale, yon farizyen envite l’ vin manje lakay li. Jezi antre, li al chita bò tab la.
38 Farizyen an te sezi lè l’ wè Jezi pa t’ lave men l’ anvan l’ manje.
39 Men, Jezi di li: Nou menm farizyen, se konsa nou ye. Nou netwaye tout deyò gode a ak deyò plat la, men anndan kè nou se lide vòlò ak mechanste ase ki genyen.
40 Bann egare! Bondye ki fè deyò a, se li menm ki fè anndan an tou.
41 Pito nou bay pòv tou sa ki nan gode nou yo ak nan plat nou yo. Lè sa a, anyen nan tou sa nou genyen p’ap mete nou nan kondisyon pou nou pa ka sèvi Bondye.
42 Malè pou nou, farizyen! Nou bay Bondye ladim nan donn ti pye mant, pye sitwon ak pye legim. Men, nou pa fè sa ki dwat devan Bondye, nou pa renmen Bondye. Okontrè, se sa pou n’ te fè san nou pa bliye fè lòt bagay yo tou.
43 Malè pou nou, farizyen! Nan sinagòg yo, nou renmen chita kote pou tout moun wè nou, nou renmen pou moun bese jouk atè pou di nou bonjou sou plas piblik.
44 Malè pou nou! Paske, nou tankou tonm ki ra tè: moun ap mache sou yo san yo pa konnen.
45 Yonn nan dirèktè lalwa yo pran lapawòl, li di Jezi konsa: Mèt, lè ou pale konsa, ou joure nou tou wi.
46 Epi Jezi reponn li: Malè pou nou tou, nou menm dirèktè lalwa yo! N’ap chaje moun ak chay ki twò lou pou pote. Men nou menm, nou pa menm manyen l’ ak ti dwèt nou.
47 Malè pou nou! N’ap bati bèl tonm pou pwofèt zansèt nou yo te touye.
48 Lè nou fè sa, nou admèt zansèt nou yo te byen fèt; nou dakò ak yo: yo menm yo te touye pwofèt yo, nou menm n’ap bati tonm pou yo.
49 Se poutèt sa Bondye te di nan bon konprann li: M’ap voye pwofèt avèk apòt ba yo; y’a touye kèk ladan yo, y’a pèsekite lòt yo.
50 Se konsa moun alèkile yo ap reskonsab pou san tout pwofèt ki te koule depi lè Bondye te fin kreye latè;
51 wi, depi san Abèl jouk san Zakari yo te touye ant lotèl la ak kote ki rezève apa pou Bondye nan tanp lan. Wi. Se mwen k’ap di nou sa: Y’a mande moun alèkile yo kont pou tout krim sa yo.
52 Malè pou nou, nou menm direktè lalwa yo! Nou pran kle ki pou louvri pòt kay konesans la: nou menm nou pa antre ladann, epi moun ki ta vle antre, nou anpeche yo antre.
53 Lè Jezi kite kote l’ te ye a, dirèktè lalwa yo ak farizyen yo kòmanse atake l’ avèk fòs; yo t’ap poze l’ keksyon sou anpil bagay.
54 Yo t’ap pare pèlen pou li pou pran kèk pawòl nan bouch li.

Luc 10
1 Jésus priait un jour en un certain lieu. Lorsqu’il eut achevé, un de ses disciples lui dit: Seigneur, enseigne-nous à prier, comme Jean l’a enseigné à ses disciples.
2 Il leur dit: Quand vous priez, dites: Père! Que ton nom soit sanctifié; que ton règne vienne.
3 Donne-nous chaque jour notre pain quotidien;
4 pardonne-nous nos péchés, car nous aussi nous pardonnons à quiconque nous offense; et ne nous induis pas en tentation.
5 Il leur dit encore: Si l’un de vous a un ami, et qu’il aille le trouver au milieu de la nuit pour lui dire: Ami, prête-moi trois pains,
6 car un de mes amis est arrivé de voyage chez moi, et je n’ai rien à lui offrir,
7 et si, de l’intérieur de sa maison, cet ami lui répond: Ne m’importune pas, la porte est déjà fermée, mes enfants et moi sommes au lit, je ne puis me lever pour te donner des pains, –
8 je vous le dis, même s’il ne se levait pas pour les lui donner parce que c’est son ami, il se lèverait à cause de son importunité et lui donnerait tout ce dont il a besoin.
9 Et moi, je vous dis: Demandez, et l’on vous donnera; cherchez, et vous trouverez; frappez, et l’on vous ouvrira.
10 Car quiconque demande reçoit, celui qui cherche trouve, et l’on ouvre à celui qui frappe.
11 Quel est parmi vous le père qui donnera une pierre à son fils, s’il lui demande du pain? Ou, s’il demande un poisson, lui donnera-t-il un serpent au lieu d’un poisson?
12 Ou, s’il demande un oeuf, lui donnera-t-il un scorpion?
13 Si donc, méchants comme vous l’êtes, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, à combien plus forte raison le Père céleste donnera-t-il le Saint Esprit à ceux qui le lui demandent.
14 Jésus chassa un démon qui était muet. Lorsque le démon fut sorti, le muet parla, et la foule fut dans l’admiration.
15 Mais quelques-uns dirent: c’est par Béelzébul, le prince des démons, qu’il chasse les démons.
16 Et d’autres, pour l’éprouver, lui demandèrent un signe venant du ciel.
17 Comme Jésus connaissait leurs pensées, il leur dit: Tout royaume divisé contre lui-même est dévasté, et une maison s’écroule sur une autre.
18 Si donc Satan est divisé contre lui-même, comment son royaume subsistera-t-il, puisque vous dites que je chasse les démons par Béelzébul?
19 Et si moi, je chasse les démons par Béelzébul, vos fils, par qui les chassent-ils? C’est pourquoi ils seront eux-mêmes vos juges.
20 Mais, si c’est par le doigt de Dieu que je chasse les démons, le royaume de Dieu est donc venu vers vous.
21 Lorsqu’un homme fort et bien armé garde sa maison, ce qu’il possède est en sûreté.
22 Mais, si un plus fort que lui survient et le dompte, il lui enlève toutes les armes dans lesquelles il se confiait, et il distribue ses dépouilles.
23 Celui qui n’est pas avec moi est contre moi, et celui qui n’assemble pas avec moi disperse.
24 Lorsque l’esprit impur est sorti d’un homme, il va dans des lieux arides, pour chercher du repos. N’en trouvant point, il dit: Je retournerai dans ma maison d’où je suis sorti;
25 et, quand il arrive, il la trouve balayée et ornée.
26 Alors il s’en va, et il prend sept autres esprits plus méchants que lui; ils entrent dans la maison, s’y établissent, et la dernière condition de cet homme est pire que la première.
27 Tandis que Jésus parlait ainsi, une femme, élevant la voix du milieu de la foule, lui dit: Heureux le sein qui t’a porté! heureuses les mamelles qui t’ont allaité!
28 Et il répondit: Heureux plutôt ceux qui écoutent la parole de Dieu, et qui la gardent!
29 Comme le peuple s’amassait en foule, il se mit à dire: Cette génération est une génération méchante; elle demande un miracle; il ne lui sera donné d’autre miracle que celui de Jonas.
30 Car, de même que Jonas fut un signe pour les Ninivites, de même le Fils de l’homme en sera un pour cette génération.
31 La reine du Midi se lèvera, au jour du jugement, avec les hommes de cette génération et les condamnera, parce qu’elle vint des extrémités de la terre pour entendre la sagesse de Salomon; et voici, il y a ici plus que Salomon.
32 Les hommes de Ninive se lèveront, au jour du jugement, avec cette génération et la condamneront, parce qu’ils se repentirent à la prédication de Jonas; et voici, il y a ici plus que Jonas.
33 Personne n’allume une lampe pour la mettre dans un lieu caché ou sous le boisseau, mais on la met sur le chandelier, afin que ceux qui entrent voient la lumière.
34 Ton oeil est la lampe de ton corps. Lorsque ton oeil est en bon état, tout ton corps est éclairé; mais lorsque ton oeil est en mauvais état, ton corps est dans les ténèbres.
35 Prends donc garde que la lumière qui est en toi ne soit ténèbres.
36 Si donc tout ton corps est éclairé, n’ayant aucune partie dans les ténèbres, il sera entièrement éclairé, comme lorsque la lampe t’éclaire de sa lumière.
37 Pendant que Jésus parlait, un pharisien le pria de dîner chez lui. Il entra, et se mit à table.
38 Le pharisien vit avec étonnement qu’il ne s’était pas lavé avant le repas.
39 Mais le Seigneur lui dit: Vous, pharisiens, vous nettoyez le dehors de la coupe et du plat, et à l’intérieur vous êtes pleins de rapine et de méchanceté.
40 Insensés! celui qui a fait le dehors n’a-t-il pas fait aussi le dedans?
41 Donnez plutôt en aumônes ce qui est dedans, et voici, toutes choses seront pures pour vous.
42 Mais malheur à vous, pharisiens! parce que vous payez la dîme de la menthe, de la rue, et de toutes les herbes, et que vous négligez la justice et l’amour de Dieu: c’est là ce qu’il fallait pratiquer, sans omettre les autres choses.
43 Malheur à vous, pharisiens! parce que vous aimez les premiers sièges dans les synagogues, et les salutations dans les places publiques.
44 Malheur à vous! parce que vous êtes comme les sépulcres qui ne paraissent pas, et sur lesquels on marche sans le savoir.
45 Un des docteurs de la loi prit la parole, et lui dit: Maître, en parlant de la sorte, c’est aussi nous que tu outrages.
46 Et Jésus répondit: Malheur à vous aussi, docteurs de la loi! parce que vous chargez les hommes de fardeaux difficiles à porter, et que vous ne touchez pas vous-mêmes de l’un de vos doigts.
47 Malheur à vous! parce que vous bâtissez les tombeaux des prophètes, que vos pères ont tués.
48 Vous rendez donc témoignage aux oeuvres de vos pères, et vous les approuvez; car eux, ils ont tué les prophètes, et vous, vous bâtissez leurs tombeaux.
49 C’est pourquoi la sagesse de Dieu a dit: Je leur enverrai des prophètes et des apôtres; ils tueront les uns et persécuteront les autres,
50 afin qu’il soit demandé compte à cette génération du sang de tous les prophètes qui a été répandu depuis la création du monde,
51 depuis le sang d’Abel jusqu’au sang de Zacharie, tué entre l’autel et le temple; oui, je vous le dis, il en sera demandé compte à cette génération.
52 Malheur à vous, docteurs de la loi! parce que vous avez enlevé la clef de la science; vous n’êtes pas entrés vous-mêmes, et vous avez empêché d’entrer ceux qui le voulaient.
53 Quand il fut sorti de là, les scribes et les pharisiens commencèrent à le presser violemment, et à le faire parler sur beaucoup de choses,
54 lui tendant des pièges, pour surprendre quelque parole sortie de sa bouche.

1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.
38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.
39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?
41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.
