Ézayi 26
1 Jou sa a, pèp la va chante kantik sa a nan peyi Jida: -Koulye a, nou gen yon lavil ki byen pwoteje! Bondye bati gwo miray ak ranpa pou l’ delivre nou.
2 Louvri pòtay lavil yo! Kite nasyon ki toujou kenbe pawòl li ak Bondye a, nasyon ki fè sa ki dwat devan Bondye a antre.
3 Ou menm, Bondye, w’ap ba yo kè poze! Moun ki toujou kenbe pwomès yo, wi, w’ap ba yo kè poze, paske yo mete konfyans yo nan ou!
4 Mete konfyans nou nan Bondye pou tout tan paske Seyè a ap toujou la pou pwoteje nou.
5 Li fè moun ki te gen gwo lide nan kè yo bese tèt yo byen ba. L’a kraze gwo lavil yo te bati pou pwoteje yo a, li demoli l’ nèt ratè.
6 Pòv yo ak malere yo ap foule l’ anba pye yo!
7 Seyè, ou fè chemen an dous pou moun k’ap mache dwat, ou louvri yon bèl chemen plat pou yo.
8 Nou vle fè volonte ou, nou konte sou ou. Se ou menm nou anvi wè! Se ou menm n’ap chonje tout tan!
9 Lannwit, se ou menm m’ap chonje. Lide m’ ap travay sou ou. Paske lè w’ap jije sa k’ap pase sou latè moun ki sou latè resi konnen sa ki rele jistis.
10 Si yo fè mechan yo gras se pa sa k’ap fè yo konnen sa ki rele jistis. Menm nan peyi kote moun ap mache dwat, y’ap fè sa ki mal. Yo derefize rekonèt pouvwa Bondye!
11 Seyè, ou leve men ou pou pini lènmi ou yo, yo pa wè sa. Fè yo wè jan ou renmen pèp ou a, epi y’a wont. Fè dife ou pare pou lènmi ou yo devore yo.
12 Seyè, ou fè nou viv ak kè poze. Paske tou sa nou rive fè, se ou ki fè l’ pou nou!
13 Seyè, Bondye nou an, gen lòt chèf ki t’ap dirije nou. Men, se ou menm sèl ki mèt nou, se ou menm sèl n’ap sèvi!
14 Sa ki mouri yo mouri nèt, lespri yo p’ap leve ankò. Paske, ou pini yo, ou disparèt yo. Ou fè pa gen moun k’ap chonje yo ankò.
15 Seyè, ou fè nasyon nou an vin pi plis. Ou fè l’ vin pi plis, ou laji fwontyè peyi a. Sa fè moun wè jan ou gen pouvwa.
16 Seyè, lè pèp la te nan tray, se ou menm yo te vin jwenn. Lè ou t’ap pini yo, yo te gen kè sere, se nan pye ou yo t’ap lapriyè.
17 Seyè, nou t’ap rele nan pye ou, tankou yon fanm ansent ki prèt pou akouche, k’ap tòde, k’ap rele lè tranche a pran l’.
18 Li nan lapenn, l’ap tòde anba doulè. Men, lè pou l’ akouche, li pa fè anyen. Konsa tou, nou te nan lapenn, men, peyi a pa rive sove. Moun ki pou rete nan peyi a pa rive fèt.
19 Moun pa ou yo ki te mouri pral leve vivan ankò. Kadav yo pral leve mache. Nou menm ki te anba tè, leve non! Chante ak kè kontan. Menm jan lawouze rafrechi latè, se konsa Seyè a pral fè sa ki te mouri depi lontan yo leve vivan ankò.
20 Ale non, pèp mwen an! Antre lakay nou. Fèmen pòt dèyè nou. Kache kò nou pou yon ti tan, jouk kòlè Bondye a va fin pase.
21 Seyè a ap met deyò, li pral pini mezi moun sou latè ki fè krim. Yo pral devwale tout krim yo te fè an kachèt. Yo pral dekouvri kadav tout moun yo te touye.

Ésaïe 26
1 En ce jour, on chantera ce cantique dans le pays de Juda: Nous avons une ville forte; Il nous donne le salut pour murailles et pour rempart.
2 Ouvrez les portes, Laissez entrer la nation juste et fidèle.
3 A celui qui est ferme dans ses sentiments Tu assures la paix, la paix, Parce qu’il se confie en toi.
4 Confiez-vous en l’Éternel à perpétuité, Car l’Éternel, l’Éternel est le rocher des siècles.
5 Il a renversé ceux qui habitaient les hauteurs, Il a abaissé la ville superbe; Il l’a abaissée jusqu’à terre, Il lui a fait toucher la poussière.
6 Elle est foulée aux pieds, Aux pieds des pauvres, sous les pas des misérables.
7 Le chemin du juste est la droiture; Toi qui es juste, tu aplanis le sentier du juste.
8 Aussi nous t’attendons, ô Éternel! sur la voie de tes jugements; Notre âme soupire après ton nom et après ton souvenir.
9 Mon âme te désire pendant la nuit, Et mon esprit te cherche au dedans de moi; Car, lorsque tes jugements s’exercent sur la terre, Les habitants du monde apprennent la justice.
10 Si l’on fait grâce au méchant, il n’apprend pas la justice, Il se livre au mal dans le pays de la droiture, Et il n’a point égard à la majesté de Dieu.
11 Éternel, ta main est puissante: Ils ne l’aperçoivent pas. Ils verront ton zèle pour le peuple, et ils en seront confus; Le feu consumera tes ennemis.
12 Éternel, tu nous donnes la paix; Car tout ce que nous faisons, C’est toi qui l’accomplis pour nous.
13 Éternel, notre Dieu, d’autres maîtres que toi ont dominé sur nous; Mais c’est grâce à toi seul que nous invoquons ton nom.
14 Ceux qui sont morts ne revivront pas, Des ombres ne se relèveront pas; Car tu les as châtiés, tu les as anéantis, Et tu en as détruit tout souvenir.
15 Multiplie le peuple, ô Éternel! Multiplie le peuple, manifeste ta gloire; Recule toutes les limites du pays.
16 Éternel, ils t’ont cherché, quand ils étaient dans la détresse; Ils se sont répandus en prières, quand tu les as châtiés.
17 Comme une femme enceinte, sur le point d’accoucher, Se tord et crie au milieu de ses douleurs, Ainsi avons-nous été, loin de ta face, ô Éternel!
18 Nous avons conçu, nous avons éprouvé des douleurs, Et, quand nous enfantons, ce n’est que du vent: Le pays n’est pas sauvé, Et ses habitants ne sont pas nés.
19 Que tes morts revivent! Que mes cadavres se relèvent! -Réveillez-vous et tressaillez de joie, habitants de la poussière! Car ta rosée est une rosée vivifiante, Et la terre redonnera le jour aux ombres.
20 Va, mon peuple, entre dans ta chambre, Et ferme la porte derrière toi; Cache-toi pour quelques instants, Jusqu’à ce que la colère soit passée.
21 Car voici, l’Éternel sort de sa demeure, Pour punir les crimes des habitants de la terre; Et la terre mettra le sang à nu, Elle ne couvrira plus les meurtres.

Isaiah 26
1 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.
11 Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
12 Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
13 O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
15 Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
16 Lord, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O Lord.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
