1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David. Syèl la fè parèt aklè pouvwa Bondye a. Li fè wè tou sa Bondye te fè ak men l’.

6 Solèy la leve nan yon bout syèl la, li kouche nan lòt bout la. Chalè li bat sou tout bagay.
7 Lalwa Seyè a bon sou tout pwen. Li moutre nou jan pou nou viv. Nou mèt gen konfyans nan kòmandman Seyè a. Tout moun ki pa gen konprann, l’ap ba yo konprann.
8 Regleman Seyè a se bagay ki dwat. Moun ki swiv yo ap gen kè kontan. Kòmandman li yo klè. Yo louvri je moun.
9 Se pou nou gen krentif pou Seyè a yon jan ki san repwòch. Epi se tout tan pou nou gen krentif sa a. Jijman Seyè a se verite, yo pa janm nan patipri.
10 Moun ap kouri dèyè yo pi rèd pase dèyè lò, menm pase lò ki pi bon an. Yo pi dous pase siwo myèl, menm pase siwo k’ap degoute nan gato myèl.
11 Mwen menm k’ap sèvi ou la, yo ban m’ anpil konesans. Gen gwo rekonpans pou moun k’ap obeyi yo.
12 Ki moun ki konnen tou sa li fè ki mal? Tanpri, Seyè, delivre m’ anba sa mwen fè ki mal san m’ pa konnen!
13 Mwen menm k’ap sèvi ou la, pwoteje m’ tou anba peche mwen fè ak tout konesans mwen. Pa kite yo pran pye sou mwen. Se lè sa a m’a san repwòch. Se lè sa a m’a delivre anba gwo peche a.
14 Seyè, se ou ki twou wòch kote m’ kache a, se ou ki delivrans mwen, mwen mande ou pou pawòl ki soti nan bouch mwen, ak lide k’ap travay nan tèt mwen fè ou plezi.

1 Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. Les cieux racontent la gloire de Dieu, Et l’étendue manifeste l’oeuvre de ses mains.
2 Le jour en instruit un autre jour, La nuit en donne connaissance à une autre nuit.
3 Ce n’est pas un langage, ce ne sont pas des paroles Dont le son ne soit point entendu:
4 Leur retentissement parcourt toute la terre, Leurs accents vont aux extrémités du monde, Où il a dressé une tente pour le soleil.
5 Et le soleil, semblable à un époux qui sort de sa chambre, S’élance dans la carrière avec la joie d’un héros;
6 Il se lève à une extrémité des cieux, Et achève sa course à l’autre extrémité: Rien ne se dérobe à sa chaleur.
7 La loi de l’Éternel est parfaite, elle restaure l’âme; Le témoignage de l’Éternel est véritable, il rend sage l’ignorant.
8 Les ordonnances de l’Éternel sont droites, elles réjouissent le coeur; Les commandements de l’Éternel sont purs, ils éclairent les yeux.
9 La crainte de l’Éternel est pure, elle subsiste à toujours; Les jugements de l’Éternel sont vrais, ils sont tous justes.
10 Ils sont plus précieux que l’or, que beaucoup d’or fin; Ils sont plus doux que le miel, que celui qui coule des rayons.
11 Ton serviteur aussi en reçoit instruction; Pour qui les observe la récompense est grande.
12 Qui connaît ses égarements? Pardonne-moi ceux que j’ignore.
13 Préserve aussi ton serviteur des orgueilleux; Qu’ils ne dominent point sur moi! Alors je serai intègre, innocent de grands péchés.
14 Reçois favorablement les paroles de ma bouche Et les sentiments de mon coeur, O Éternel, mon rocher et mon libérateur!

Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
