Pwovèb 8
1 Tande byen. Sajès ap rele byen fò. Entèlijans ap pale fò pou tout moun tande.
2 Li kanpe sou tèt ti mòn yo, sou bò wout la, nan mitan kalfou yo.
3 L’ap pale byen fò bò pòtay lavil la, sou tout papòt yo, l’ap di:
4 Nou menm lèzòm, se ak nou m’ap pale. M’ap rele pou tout moun ki sou latè tande.
5 Nou menm ki pa gen konprann, vin aprann sa ki rele gen bon konprann Nou menm k’ap aji tankou moun fou, vin aprann sa ki rele gen lespri.
6 Louvri zòrèy nou. Mwen pral di pawòl ki konsekan. Tou sa mwen pral di yo se bagay ki dwat.
7 Sa m’ pral di la a se verite. Mwen pa kapab bay manti.
8 Tou sa ki soti nan bouch mwen, se pawòl ki dwat. Nan sa m’ di yo pa gen anyen ki pa vre, pa gen anyen ki kwochi.
9 Yo klè pou moun ki gen bon konprann. Yo kòrèk pou moun ki gen konesans.
10 Pito ou chache gen bon konprann pase pou ou gen lajan. Pito ou chache gen konesans pase pou ou gen pi bon lò.
11 Paske, mwen menm Bon Konprann, mwen pi bon pase boul lò. Pa gen anyen ou ta renmen genyen ki ka konpare avè m’.
12 Mwen menm Bon Konprann, mwen gen lespri. Mwen gen bon tèt pou m’ konprann.
13 Lè yon moun gen krentif pou Bondye, li rayi sa ki mal. Mwen pa vle wè moun lògey ak moun awogan, moun ki gen move kondit ak moun k’ap bay manti.
14 Se mwen ki bay bon konsèy, ki bay moun ladrès. Mwen gen konprann, mwen gen fòs pouvwa.
15 Se mwen ki bay wa yo ladrès pou yo kòmande. Se mwen ki fè chèf yo pase bon lòd pou pa gen lenjistis.
16 Se mwen menm ki bay tout chèf yo tèt pou yo kòmande. Se mwen menm ki fè sa tou pou tout lòt chèf yo ansanm ak tout lòt moun k’ap dirije lèzòm.
17 Mwen renmen moun ki renmen m’. Depi yon moun chache m’, fòk li jwenn mwen.
18 Mwen bay richès, mwen bay pouvwa. Mwen bay byen k’ap la pou lontan, mwen fè tout bagay byen.
19 Tou sa mwen bay pi bon lontan pase pi bon lò ki genyen. Yo pi bon pase ajan.
20 Mwen fè moun mache dwat devan Bondye. Mwen fè yo mache yon jan pou yo pa fè moun lenjistis.
21 Lè moun renmen m’, mwen ba yo anpil byen. Mwen plen kay yo ak richès.
22 Seyè a te fè m’ lè li te fèk konmanse ak plan travay li. Li te fè m’ lontan lontan anvan tout bagay.
23 Li te fè m’ nan konmansman nèt, an premye, anvan tout lòt bagay sou latè.
24 Lè m’ te fèk parèt, pa t’ ankò gen lanmè. pa t’ ankò gen ankenn sous dlo.
25 Lè m’ te fèt la, pa t’ ankò gen ankenn mòn menm. Ata ti mòn yo pa t’ ankò nan plas yo.
26 Bondye pa t’ ankò fè latè ak jaden. Pa menm premye grenn pousyè tè a pa t’ ankò fèt.
27 Mwen te la lè li t’ap mete syèl la nan plas li, lè li t’ap trase liy kote syèl la kontre ak latè a.
28 Mwen te la lè li t’ap mete nwaj yo nan syèl la, lè li t’ap fè sous dlo pete anba lanmè a.
29 Mwen te la lè li t’ap bay dlo lanmè a limit pou l’ pa depase, lè li t’ap poze fondasyon tè a.
30 Mwen te la bò kote l’ ap travay avè l’. Chak jou mwen t’ap fè tout bagay ki te fè l’ plezi. Mwen te toujou kontan travay anba je l’.
31 Mwen te kontan mache toupatou sou latè. Mwen te pran plezi m’ ak lèzòm.
32 Koulye a, pitit mwen yo, louvri zòrèy nou pou nou tande mwen. Ala bon sa bon pou moun ki fè sa m’ di yo fè!
33 Louvri zòrèy nou pou nou tande sa m’ap moutre nou. N’a vin gen bon konprann. Pa meprize bagay konsa.
34 Ala bon sa bon pou moun ki koute m’, pou moun ki chita nan papòt mwen chak jou, pou moun k’ap tann bò poto galeri kay mwen!
35 Lè yon moun jwenn mwen, se lavi li jwenn. Li antre nan favè Bondye.
36 Men moun ki vire do ban mwen ap fè tèt yo mal. Moun ki rayi m’, se moun k’ap mache ak sèkèy yo anba bra yo.

Proverbes 8
1 La sagesse ne crie-t-elle pas? L’intelligence n’élève-t-elle pas sa voix?
2 C’est au sommet des hauteurs près de la route, C’est à la croisée des chemins qu’elle se place;
3 A côté des portes, à l’entrée de la ville, A l’intérieur des portes, elle fait entendre ses cris:
4 Hommes, c’est à vous que je crie, Et ma voix s’adresse aux fils de l’homme.
5 Stupides, apprenez le discernement; Insensés, apprenez l’intelligence.
6 Écoutez, car j’ai de grandes choses à dire, Et mes lèvres s’ouvrent pour enseigner ce qui est droit.
7 Car ma bouche proclame la vérité, Et mes lèvres ont en horreur le mensonge;
8 Toutes les paroles de ma bouche sont justes, Elles n’ont rien de faux ni de détourné;
9 Toutes sont claires pour celui qui est intelligent, Et droites pour ceux qui ont trouvé la science.
10 Préférez mes instructions à l’argent, Et la science à l’or le plus précieux;
11 Car la sagesse vaut mieux que les perles, Elle a plus de valeur que tous les objets de prix.
12 Moi, la sagesse, j’ai pour demeure le discernement, Et je possède la science de la réflexion.
13 La crainte de l’Éternel, c’est la haine du mal; L’arrogance et l’orgueil, la voie du mal, Et la bouche perverse, voilà ce que je hais.
14 Le conseil et le succès m’appartiennent; Je suis l’intelligence, la force est à moi.
15 Par moi les rois règnent, Et les princes ordonnent ce qui est juste;
16 Par moi gouvernent les chefs, Les grands, tous les juges de la terre.
17 J’aime ceux qui m’aiment, Et ceux qui me cherchent me trouvent.
18 Avec moi sont la richesse et la gloire, Les biens durables et la justice.
19 Mon fruit est meilleur que l’or, que l’or pur, Et mon produit est préférable à l’argent.
20 Je marche dans le chemin de la justice, Au milieu des sentiers de la droiture,
21 Pour donner des biens à ceux qui m’aiment, Et pour remplir leurs trésors.
22 L’Éternel m’a créée la première de ses oeuvres, Avant ses oeuvres les plus anciennes.
23 J’ai été établie depuis l’éternité, Dès le commencement, avant l’origine de la terre.
24 Je fus enfantée quand il n’y avait point d’abîmes, Point de sources chargées d’eaux;
25 Avant que les montagnes soient affermies, Avant que les collines existent, je fus enfantée;
26 Il n’avait encore fait ni la terre, ni les campagnes, Ni le premier atome de la poussière du monde.
27 Lorsqu’il disposa les cieux, j’étais là; Lorsqu’il traça un cercle à la surface de l’abîme,
28 Lorsqu’il fixa les nuages en haut, Et que les sources de l’abîme jaillirent avec force,
29 Lorsqu’il donna une limite à la mer, Pour que les eaux n’en franchissent pas les bords, Lorsqu’il posa les fondements de la terre,
30 J’étais à l’oeuvre auprès de lui, Et je faisais tous les jours ses délices, Jouant sans cesse en sa présence,
31 Jouant sur le globe de sa terre, Et trouvant mon bonheur parmi les fils de l’homme.
32 Et maintenant, mes fils, écoutez-moi, Et heureux ceux qui observent mes voies!
33 Écoutez l’instruction, pour devenir sages, Ne la rejetez pas.
34 Heureux l’homme qui m’écoute, Qui veille chaque jour à mes portes, Et qui en garde les poteaux!
35 Car celui qui me trouve a trouvé la vie, Et il obtient la faveur de l’Éternel.
36 Mais celui qui pèche contre moi nuit à son âme; Tous ceux qui me haïssent aiment la mort.

Proverbs 8
1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6 Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
