Sòm 36
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David, sèvitè Seyè a. Peche a pale nan fon kè mechan an: li mete nan tèt li pa gen rezon pou gen krentif Bondye.
2 Li kwè li pi bon pase sa l’ ye a: konsa, li pa vle rekonèt peche l’ yo.
3 Tout pawòl nan bouch li se move pawòl, se manti ase l’ap bay. Li fin pèdi tèt li, li pa ka fè anyen ki byen anko.
4 Li kouche sou kabann li, l’ap fè move plan. Li sou yon move pant, li dakò ak tou sa ki mal.
5 Seyè, ou renmen nou anpil anpil. Ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou.
6 Jistis ou kanpe fèm tankou gwo mòn ou yo. Jijman ou yo se bagay moun pa ka fin konprann. Seyè, se ou menm ki pran swen moun ansanm ak tout bèt yo.
7 Bondye, ala bon sa bon, renmen ou gen pou nou an! Se anba zèl ou lèzòm jwenn pwoteksyon.
8 Yo manje vant plen ak manje yo jwenn an kantite lakay ou. Bon bagay ou yo tankou yon rivyè dlo k’ap koule kote yo bwè kont kò yo.
9 Paske, se ou menm ki sous lavi a. Se limyè ou ki fè nou wè klè!
10 Toujou renmen moun ki konnen ou! Toujou fè byen pou moun ki san repwòch devan ou!
11 Pa kite awogan yo mete pye sou kou m’. Pa kite mechan yo fè m’ kouri.
12 Gade jan moun k’ap fè mal yo tonbe non! Yo rete atè a, yo pa ka kanpe sou pye yo ankò!

Psaumes 36
1 Au chef des chantres. Du serviteur de l’Éternel, de David. La parole impie du méchant est au fond de mon coeur; La crainte de Dieu n’est pas devant ses yeux.
2 Car il se flatte à ses propres yeux, Pour consommer son iniquité, pour assouvir sa haine.
3 Les paroles de sa bouche sont fausses et trompeuses; Il renonce à agir avec sagesse, à faire le bien.
4 Il médite l’injustice sur sa couche, Il se tient sur une voie qui n’est pas bonne, Il ne repousse pas le mal.
5 Éternel! ta bonté atteint jusqu’aux cieux, Ta fidélité jusqu’aux nues.
6 Ta justice est comme les montagnes de Dieu, Tes jugements sont comme le grand abîme. Éternel! tu soutiens les hommes et les bêtes.
7 Combien est précieuse ta bonté, ô Dieu! A l’ombre de tes ailes les fils de l’homme cherchent un refuge.
8 Ils se rassasient de l’abondance de ta maison, Et tu les abreuves au torrent de tes délices.
9 Car auprès de toi est la source de la vie; Par ta lumière nous voyons la lumière.
10 Étends ta bonté sur ceux qui te connaissent, Et ta justice sur ceux dont le coeur est droit!
11 Que le pied de l’orgueil ne m’atteigne pas, Et que la main des méchants ne me fasse pas fuir!
12 Déjà tombent ceux qui commettent l’iniquité; Ils sont renversés, et ils ne peuvent se relever.

Psalm 36
1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
