1 Apre sa, Pòl pati, li kite lavil Atèn, li ale lavil Korent.
2 Rive la, li kontre yon jwif yo te rele Akilas, moun peyi Pon, ki te fèk rive soti Itali ansanm ak madanm li yo te rele Prisil, apre Seza Klòd te bay lòd pou tout jwif te kite lavil Wòm. Pòl al wè yo,
3 epi l’ rete lakay yo. Li t’ap travay ansanm ak yo paske li te gen menm metye ak yo: li te konn fè tant an twal.
4 Chak jou repo, Pòl te pran lapawòl nan sinagòg la, li t’ap chache pran tèt anpil jwif ak anpil moun peyi Lagrès.
5 Men, lè Silas ak Timote rive soti Masedwan, Pòl te bay tout tan l’ pou travay predikasyon an sèlman: li t’ap bay jwif yo tout kalite prèv pou moutre yo Jezi se Kris yo t’ap tann lan.
6 Men, jwif yo pran kenbe tèt avèk li, yo t’ap joure l’. Lè l’ wè sa, li souke pousyè ki te sou rad li, epi l’ di yo: Si nou peri, se nou ki chache sa. Se p’ap fòt mwen. Depi koulye a m’ap vire kò m’ bò kot moun ki pa jwif yo.

8 Krispis, chèf sinagòg la, te mete konfyans li nan Seyè a ansanm ak tout fanmi li. Anpil lòt moun Korent te kwè tou lè yo te tande sa Pòl t’ap di yo, epi yo te resevwa batèm.
9 Yon jou lannwit, Pòl fè yon vizyon. Li wè Seyè a ki di li: Ou pa bezwen pè, se pou ou kontinye pale. Pa fèmen bouch ou.
10 Mwen la avèk ou. Pesonn p’ap ka mete men sou ou pou fè ou anyen. Gen anpil moun ki pou mwen nan lavil la.

14 Pòl tapral pale, lè Galyon di jwif yo konsa: Nou menm jwif, koute: si se te yon krim osinon yon movezak li te fè, mwen ta pèdi tan m’ koute nou.
15 Men, si se yon bann diskisyon sou mo, sou non, sou lalwa jwif yo, sa se zafè ki gade nou. Mwen p’ap antre nan bagay konsa pou m’ mete rezon.
16 Epi li mete tout moun deyò nan tribinal la.
17 Lè sa a, jwif yo mete men sou Sostèn, chèf sinagòg la, yo bat li byen bat devan tribinal la. Men, Galyon pa okipe yo menm.
18 Pòl rete kèk tan ankò lavil Korent. Apre sa, li kite frè yo, li anbake sou yon batiman pou peyi Siri ansanm ak Prisil ak Akilas. Anvan sa, li fè kale tèt li nan Sankre paske li te fè yon ve.
19 Rive yo rive lavil Efèz, Pòl kite Prisil ak Akilas, li al nan sinagòg la, li pran diskite ak jwif yo.
20 Yo mande l’ pou l’ rete pi lontan ak yo, men li pa t’ vle.
21 Anvan l’ kite yo, li di yo: M’a tounen vin wè nou, si Bondye vle. Epi li moute yon batiman, li kite Efèz.
22 Lè l’ debake lavil Sezare, li moute Jerizalèm, li pase di legliz la bonjou. Apre sa, li al Antiòch.
23 Li pase kèk tan la, epi li pati ankò. Li pase nan tout peyi Galasi ak peyi Friji, li t’ap fòtifye tout disip yo nan konfyans yo nan Bondye.
24 Yon jwif yo te rele Apolòs rive lavil Efèz. Se te moun lavil Aleksandri. Nonm sa a te konn pale byen, li te konn tou sa ki te ekri nan Liv yo.
25 Yo te moutre l’ chemen Bondye a. Depi lè sa a, li te cho pou l’ te anonse pawòl la. San dezanpare li t’ap moutre moun yo tou sa li te konnen sou Jezi yon jan ki konfòm ak verite a. Men, se batèm Jan an ase li te konnen.
26 Li t’ap pale avèk fòs konviksyon nan sinagòg la. Lè Prisil ak Akilas tande l’, yo pran l’ avèk yo epi yo fin moutre li chemen Bondye a yon jan ki pi korèk.
27 Apre sa, Apolòs fè lide ale Lakayi. Frè yo te ankouraje li. Yo ekri yon lèt voye bay disip yo ki nan peyi sa a pou yo te byen resevwa Apolòs. Lè li rive Lakayi, li bay moun Bondye te fè favè kwè yo yon gwo konkou.
28 Se avèk gwo konviksyon devan tout moun li t’ap moutre jwif yo ki jan yo te nan lerè: li pran sa ki ekri nan Liv yo a, li t’ap ba yo prèv se Jezi ki Kris la.

Actes 18
1 Après cela, Paul partit d’Athènes, et se rendit à Corinthe.
2 Il y trouva un Juif nommé Aquilas, originaire du Pont, récemment arrivé d’Italie avec sa femme Priscille, parce que Claude avait ordonné à tous les Juifs de sortir de Rome. Il se lia avec eux;
3 et, comme il avait le même métier, il demeura chez eux et y travailla: ils étaient faiseurs de tentes.
4 Paul discourait dans la synagogue chaque sabbat, et il persuadait des Juifs et des Grecs.
5 Mais quand Silas et Timothée furent arrivés de la Macédoine, il se donna tout entier à la parole, attestant aux Juifs que Jésus était le Christ.
6 Les Juifs faisant alors de l’opposition et se livrant à des injures, Paul secoua ses vêtements, et leur dit: Que votre sang retombe sur votre tête! J’en suis pur. Dès maintenant, j’irai vers les païens.
7 Et sortant de là, il entra chez un nommé Justus, homme craignant Dieu, et dont la maison était contiguë à la synagogue.
8 Cependant Crispus, le chef de la synagogue, crut au Seigneur avec toute sa famille. Et plusieurs Corinthiens, qui avaient entendu Paul, crurent aussi, et furent baptisés.
9 Le Seigneur dit à Paul en vision pendant la nuit: Ne crains point; mais parle, et ne te tais point,
10 Car je suis avec toi, et personne ne mettra la main sur toi pour te faire du mal: parle, car j’ai un peuple nombreux dans cette ville.
11 Il y demeura un an et six mois, enseignant parmi les Corinthiens la parole de Dieu.
12 Du temps que Gallion était proconsul de l’Achaïe, les Juifs se soulevèrent unanimement contre Paul, et le menèrent devant le tribunal,
13 en disant: Cet homme excite les gens à servir Dieu d’une manière contraire à la loi.
14 Paul allait ouvrir la bouche, lorsque Gallion dit aux Juifs: S’il s’agissait de quelque injustice ou de quelque méchante action, je vous écouterais comme de raison, ô Juifs;
15 mais, s’il s’agit de discussions sur une parole, sur des noms, et sur votre loi, cela vous regarde: je ne veux pas être juge de ces choses.
16 Et il les renvoya du tribunal.
17 Alors tous, se saisissant de Sosthène, le chef de la synagogue, le battirent devant le tribunal, sans que Gallion s’en mît en peine.
18 Paul resta encore assez longtemps à Corinthe. Ensuite il prit congé des frères, et s’embarqua pour la Syrie, avec Priscille et Aquilas, après s’être fait raser la tête à Cenchrées, car il avait fait un voeu.
19 Ils arrivèrent à Éphèse, et Paul y laissa ses compagnons. Étant entré dans la synagogue, il s’entretint avec les Juifs,
20 qui le prièrent de prolonger son séjour.
21 Mais il n’y consentit point, et il prit congé d’eux, en disant: Il faut absolument que je célèbre la fête prochaine à Jérusalem. Je reviendrai vers vous, si Dieu le veut. Et il partit d’Éphèse.
22 Étant débarqué à Césarée, il monta à Jérusalem, et, après avoir salué l’Église, il descendit à Antioche.
23 Lorsqu’il eut passé quelque temps à Antioche, Paul se mit en route, et parcourut successivement la Galatie et la Phrygie, fortifiant tous les disciples.
24 Un Juif nommé Apollos, originaire d’Alexandrie, homme éloquent et versé dans les Écritures, vint à Éphèse.
25 Il était instruit dans la voie du Seigneur, et, fervent d’esprit, il annonçait et enseignait avec exactitude ce qui concerne Jésus, bien qu’il ne connût que le baptême de Jean.
26 Il se mit à parler librement dans la synagogue. Aquilas et Priscille, l’ayant entendu, le prirent avec eux, et lui exposèrent plus exactement la voie de Dieu.
27 Comme il voulait passer en Achaïe, les frères l’y encouragèrent, et écrivirent aux disciples de le bien recevoir. Quand il fut arrivé, il se rendit, par la grâce de Dieu, très utile à ceux qui avaient cru;
28 Car il réfutait vivement les Juifs en public, démontrant par les Écritures que Jésus est le Christ.

Acts 18
1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
7 And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.
8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,
13 Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
15 But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.
16 And he drave them from the judgment seat.
17 Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
18 And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
19 And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.
20 When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.
23 And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:
28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
