Ézayi 24
1 Seyè a pral souke tè a, li pral ravaje l’. Li pral boulvèse l’. Tout moun ki rete sou tè a pral kouri gaye toupatou.
2 Tout moun pral pase, prèt yo kou moun nan pèp la, esklav yo kou mèt yo, sèvant yo kou metrès yo, sa k’ap vann kou sa k’ap achte, sa k’ap bay ponya kou sa k’ap pran ponya, sa k’ap bay kredi kou sa k’ap pran kredi.
3 Yo pral ravaje tout tè a, yo pral piye tout bagay. Seyè a fin pale, se sa ki pou rive.
4 Tout moun sou latè nan lapenn. Yo pa kapab ankò. Pèp la ap plenn, y’ap deperi. Chèf yo ap plenn ansanm ak rès pèp la.
5 Moun yo pa respekte peyi Bondye a. Yo pa koute lòd Bondye ba yo. Yo derefize fè sa l’ te mande yo fè a, yo derefize obeyi kòmandman Bondye yo. Yo pa kenbe kontra li te fè ak yo pou tout tan an.
6 Se poutèt sa madichon ap fini ak latè: moun ki rete sou latè ap peye pou sa yo te fè ki mal. Y’ap deperi grenn pa grenn. Se yon ti ponyen ki rete.
7 Pye rezen yo ap fennen. Ou pa ka jwenn diven. Tout moun ki te konn fè fèt yo ap plenn.
8 Yo pa bat tanbou ankò. Pa gen gwo fèt ankò. Yo pa jwe gita ankò.
9 Nanpwen chante ankò lè y’ap bwè diven. Gwòg vin anmè nan bouch gwògmann yo.
10 Pa gen moun nan lavil la. Yo kite kay yo ap tonbe. Tout pòt kay fèmen, moun pa antre la ankò.
11 Nan tout lari moun ap rele paske nanpwen diven ankò. Pa gen fèt rejwisans ankò. Nanpwen kè kontan nan peyi a.
12 Lavil la ap fini, ata pòtay yo fin kraze.
13 Se konsa sa pral ye nan tout peyi sou latè. Se va tankou apre rekòt lè y’ap gole dènye oliv ki rete nan pye oliv yo, lè y’ap fè grapyay apre rekòt rezen an.
14 Sa ki chape yo pral rele, yo pral chante byen fò ak kè kontan. Y’ap rete bò solèy kouche a, yo pral di jan Seyè a gen pouvwa.
15 Konsa tou, moun ki rete bò solèy leve pral fè lwanj Seyè a. Moun ki rete sou zile nan lanmè a pral fè chante pou Seyè a, Bondye pèp Izrayèl la.
16 Byen lwen nan dènye bout latè, nou tande y’ap chante, y’ap fè lwanj pou moun ki mache dwat yo. Men mwen menm, mwen di: Pa gen rechap pou mwen! Pa gen chape pou mwen! Gade nan kisa m’ ye! Trèt yo ap trayi moun toujou! Chak jou y’ap trayi moun pi rèd!
17 Nou menm ki rete sou latè, se kè sere, se gwo twou, se pèlen ki pare pou nou!
18 Moun k’ap kouri lè y’a tande rèl moun ki pè yo pral tonbe nan twou. Moun k’ap moute soti nan twou pral pran nan pèlen. Paske gwo lapli a pral tonbe sot nan syèl la. Fondasyon latè pral pran tranble.
19 Latè pral fann, l’ap pete fè miyèt moso. L’ap tranble, l’ap souke tout kò l’.
20 Latè pral balanse tankou moun sou. Li pral souke tankou yon ti joupa lè van ap soufle fò. Peche lèzòm yo peze lou sou li: l’ap tonbe, li p’ap janm ka leve ankò.
21 Jou sa a, Seyè a pral pini zanj yo ki anwo nan syèl la, l’ap pini tout chèf k’ap gouvènen sou latè.
22 L’ap mete yo ansanm nan prizon nan yon tonm. L’ap fèmen yo nan kacho. Apre yon bon tan, l’ap pini yo.
23 lalin lan pral vin tou nwa. Solèy la p’ap klere ankò, paske Seyè ki gen tout pouvwa a pral sèl wa. Li pral gouvènen nan lavil Jerizalèm sou tèt mòn Siyon an. Tout chèf fanmi pèp li a pral wè gwo pouvwa li.

Ésaïe 24
1 Voici, l’Éternel dévaste le pays et le rend désert, Il en bouleverse la face et en disperse les habitants.
2 Et il en est du sacrificateur comme du peuple, Du maître comme du serviteur, De la maîtresse comme de la servante, Du vendeur comme de l’acheteur, Du prêteur comme de l’emprunteur, Du créancier comme du débiteur.
3 Le pays est dévasté, livré au pillage; Car l’Éternel l’a décrété.
4 Le pays est triste, épuisé; Les habitants sont abattus, languissants; Les chefs du peuple sont sans force.
5 Le pays était profané par ses habitants; Car ils transgressaient les lois, violaient les ordonnances, Ils rompaient l’alliance éternelle.
6 C’est pourquoi la malédiction dévore le pays, Et ses habitants portent la peine de leurs crimes; C’est pourquoi les habitants du pays sont consumés, Et il n’en reste qu’un petit nombre.
7 Le moût est triste, la vigne est flétrie; Tous ceux qui avaient le coeur joyeux soupirent.
8 La joie des tambourins a cessé, la gaîté bruyante a pris fin, La joie de la harpe a cessé.
9 On ne boit plus de vin en chantant; Les liqueurs fortes sont amères au buveur.
10 La ville déserte est en ruines; Toutes les maisons sont fermées, on n’y entre plus.
11 On crie dans les rues, parce que le vin manque; Toute réjouissance a disparu, L’allégresse est bannie du pays.
12 La dévastation est restée dans la ville, Et les portes abattues sont en ruines.
13 Car il en est dans le pays, au milieu des peuples, Comme quand on secoue l’olivier, Comme quand on grappille après la vendange.
14 Ils élèvent leur voix, ils poussent des cris d’allégresse; Des bords de la mer, ils célèbrent la majesté de l’Éternel.
15 Glorifiez donc l’Éternel dans les lieux où brille la lumière, Le nom de l’Éternel, Dieu d’Israël, dans les îles de la mer! –
16 De l’extrémité de la terre nous entendons chanter: Gloire au juste! Mais moi je dis: Je suis perdu! je suis perdu! malheur à moi! Les pillards pillent, et les pillards s’acharnent au pillage.
17 La terreur, la fosse, et le filet, Sont sur toi, habitant du pays!
18 Celui qui fuit devant les cris de terreur tombe dans la fosse, Et celui qui remonte de la fosse se prend au filet; Car les écluses d’en haut s’ouvrent, Et les fondements de la terre sont ébranlés.
19 La terre est déchirée, La terre se brise, La terre chancelle.
20 La terre chancelle comme un homme ivre, Elle vacille comme une cabane; Son péché pèse sur elle, Elle tombe, et ne se relève plus.
21 En ce temps-là, l’Éternel châtiera dans le ciel l’armée d’en haut, Et sur la terre les rois de la terre.
22 Ils seront assemblés captifs dans une prison, Ils seront enfermés dans des cachots, Et, après un grand nombre de jours, ils seront châtiés.
23 La lune sera couverte de honte, Et le soleil de confusion; Car l’Éternel des armées régnera Sur la montagne de Sion et à Jérusalem, Resplendissant de gloire en présence de ses anciens.

Isaiah 24
1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word.
4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
